STAR Medicaid

At Baylor Scott & White Health Plan, we are grateful to make healthcare accessible to our neighbors across Texas. In Central Texas, we offer Scott and White Health Plan STAR Medicaid plan and in West Texas we offer STAR Medicaid plans through our subsidiary company, FirstCare Health Plans.

STAR is a Medicaid program for low-income families, children and pregnant women and includes doctor visits, prescriptions and more.

Children's Health Insurance Program

At Baylor Scott & White Health Plan, we are grateful to make healthcare accessible to our neighbors across Texas. We offer Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) plans through our subsidiary company, FirstCare Health Plans.

CHIP is a health plan for children 18 years old and younger. CHIP is for families whose income is too high for Medicaid, but they can't afford other insurance. CHIP covers health services like checkups, lab tests, X-rays, hospital stays, medicines, dental care and more.
